Techknow Engineering is a DBE/MBE-certified corporation that provides professional consulting services in Engineering and Project Management, including engineering analysis and design, planning, scheduling, project management, QA, and project controls. The company's key staff has decades of experience in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural design, with an extensive background in lighting, security, and HVAC. This experience was earned on a wide variety of projects, including transportation facilities, airports, government agencies, electric utilities, and industrial facilities for ISTHA, IDOT, OMP, CDOT, METRA, ComEd, and others. Several of these projects have won awards, such as Edison Park Elementary School (LEED Gold Certification - GBCI, 2012), the ISTHA Cherry Valley Interchange (Honor Award - American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois, 2011), the Interstate 355 South Extension (Project of the Year - Midwest Construction, 2007), and the South Tri-State Tollway (Award of Merit - Midwest Construction, 2007). Techknow Environmental and Sustainable Solutions Private Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Techknow Engineering, LLC which was formed in 2008 in New Delhi, India. Techknow India specializes in providing solid/wastewater management and Green solutions to schools and public/private sector firms. Recently completed projects include delivering several hand-made paper-making machines to clients to promote wastepaper recycling, obtaining carbon credits for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and assessing landfill gas potential at a large closed landfill.
